Anzac Commemorations 2024

​There are a number of events and activities that students and families are invited to participate in as we commemorate Anzac Day this year.

• Students are invited to write a poem for entry into the RSL ANZAC competition. These entries are due on 16 April and are to be submitted to your classroom teacher.
• Students can purchase ANZAC ribbons for $1.00 from the school office from Monday April 22 to Wednesday April 24, before school and at 1^st Break.
• Families are invited to attend one or both of our school commemorations on Wednesday 24 April 2024. Prep - Year 2 9:15-9:45am and Year 3 - Year 6 10:15-10:55am.
• Students are also invited to join the Coorparoo RSL Anzac Day march that leaves from Baragoola street at 8:00am. Students are to wear school uniform and meet at Baragoola street at 7:30am for marshalling. Students will then be invited to remain for the ANZAC service outside the RSL.
• Students and families can also pay respects by placing a virtual poppy online https://www.anzacsquare.qld.gov.au/place-a-poppy​
